Digital Architectures for Judicial Psychological Evidence: A Translational Analysis of the Integration of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in the Assessment of Minors

To provide a translational analysis of emerging technologies—Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain—in the judicial psychological assessment of minors, examining both their potential to enhance evidence validity and the risks they pose to memory integrity, procedural fairness, and fundamental rights.

Artificial Intelligence, Biometrics and Immersive Technologies in Juvenile Forensic Assessment: A Translational Analysis of Neuropsychological, Evidentiary and Ethical Implications

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), biometrics and Virtual Reality (VR) into judicial assessment represents a major transformation of evidentiary procedures. In cases involving minors, these technologies raise distinct neuropsychological and ethical challenges that require urgent translational analysis.

Advanced Persistent Threats in Contemporary Cybersecurity – An Analytical Overview

Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) have become one of the defining security challenges of the digital era because they combine strategic intent, operational patience, and technical adaptability. Unlike high-volume cybercrime, APT operations are often intelligence-led campaigns that prioritize long-term access, data collection, and prepositioning for potential disruption. This essay examines APTs from conceptual, operational, and governance perspectives. It first clarifies the APT construct and explains why persistence and adaptability matter more than malware novelty alone. It then analyzes current attacker tradecraft (e.g., supply-chain compromise, living-off-the-land, cloud abuse, and vulnerability exploitation), using public evidence from recent government advisories and industry incident datasets. The essay next evaluates defensive responses, including threat-informed defense with MITRE ATT&CK, zero trust architecture, modern incident response doctrine, and supply-chain risk controls. Finally, it discusses the policy shift toward mandatory reporting and board-level cyber governance across the U.S. and Europe. The central argument is that APT resilience is less a product of any single tool and more a function of integrated architecture, disciplined operations, and institutional accountability.

Cybersecurity and Cyber Warfare in the European Union: Current State, Threats, and Responses

Cybersecurity has become an integral part of modern society, with the digital revolution significantly affecting our daily lives, and is one of the most important challenges of the contemporary world, due to both the complexity of information systems and today’s society. The European Union increasingly finds itself on the front lines of cyberspace. As government services, critical infrastructure, businesses, and society become ever more digital, the EU faces a rising tide of cyber threats that endanger economic stability and even national security. Cybersecurity and cyber warfare are intertwined in a complex relationship that shapes our digital world. Cybersecurity has moved from the periphery to the center of European security concerns. Over roughly fifteen years, the European Union and its member states have been forced to reckon with cyber incidents ranging from nuisance website defacements to crippling ransomware on hospitals, from stealthy state espionage to operations amounting to cyber warfare.

Perspectives of Artificial Intelligence for Humanity: Risks and Challenges

The Evolution and Impact of Computer Programming in Romania

Romania has emerged as a dynamic player in the field of computer programming, with a growing reputation, cultivating innovative technology startups, and attracting multinational tech companies. Historically shaped by a strong tradition in mathematics and engineering, Romania’s programming scene has evolved through socialist-era constraints, post-1989 liberalization, and increasing integration into the global digital economy. With a robust educational foundation, a thriving IT industry, and a reputation for high-quality software development, Romania is increasingly recognized as a hub of innovation. Today, Romanian programmers contribute significantly to the country’s economic growth, both through their work in local tech hubs and in the international IT ecosystem.

Challenges and Risks of Artificial Intelligence in Electronic Warfare

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a disruptive force in electronic warfare (EW), enabling advanced signal processing, threat recognition, and real-time decision-making. However, the integration of AI into EW systems introduces a range of challenges and risks. These include data scarcity and bias, system robustness, adversarial manipulation, legal and ethical concerns, and the complexities of human–machine teaming in high-stakes environments. This article outlines the key challenges and risks associated with the development and deployment of AI-enabled EW systems, reviews contemporary research, and suggests potential solutions to mitigate these risks, drawing on both technical innovations and policy frameworks.

These topics cover the possibilities and dangers of our digital lives, emphasizing our transition from natural entities to beings closely linked with technology. As technology advances at an accelerating pace, it’s essential to grasp not only its potential but also its effects on our identity, safety, and destiny.

Human Capital changes during COVID-19 Pandemic. Why software development methodologies shifted from Waterfall to Agile.

Human capital has encountered many challenges and changes during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This adaptability that we needed to embrace, to face the many challenges of the Pandemic context, has also increased the human capital capabilities in the labor market. Many companies have significantly transformed their business operations. Both workers and companies had to adopt new practices and ways of working while facing various challenges. One of the most notable changes is the shift towards remote work, which has led to a surge in the use of Agile Methodology, particularly in software development. Agile Methodology is a dynamic and flexible approach that fosters an empowering work environment, encouraging creativity, autonomy, continuous feedback, effective communication, and iterative progress. This paper aims to explore the positive correlation between the increased adoption of Agile Methodology during the pandemic, driven by social distancing measures, and its impact on Human Capital, especially within the IT development workforce.
